The trails got a groom on Wednesday and Friday, and we got a skim of snow to make for some good ski conditions over the weekend!!! There was lots of traffic through both the ski trails and the snowshoe trails, and trivia on Friday night was packed – which is awesome!!
There was a chance of flurries this afternoon, and I’m looking to groom everything tonight! There is then possibly snow on Wednesday / Thursday / Friday – the most challenging thing this year is timing the groom around our frequent snowfall… what an awesome problem to have!
The next groom following tonight will be Friday for the weekend, with a touch up on Sunday night for Monday’s family day activities. I’m out of the area from 22 Feb – 03 Mar, and you will be in the very capable and more effective hands of Daniel!
Overall this year has been a great year at the lodge, with lots of members, keen volunteers, and participation in club events! Carly has been doing a phenomenal job on our socials and event planning, and Tyler and Liz have been dedicated to the rental shop. It truly does take a village.
