Good Evening!
The trails are currently all groomed, and veryyyyy fast (with the current sub-zero temps). With the possible snow coming on Tuesday / Wednesday, we will be looking at grooming before the weekend, but after this snowfall. This will help fill in some boot marks/snowshoe marks (token request for people to walk on the snowshoe trails, and now on the freshly groomed ski trails – thanks!). A couple of requests for some additional trail signs came in, which will be put up at the 4-way intersection by the pond, to direct snowshoers back to the lodge. We thank the snowshoers who do happen to wind up on the ski trails, and make the effort to walk single file – skate skiers appreciate it the most.
Our collaborative snowshoe event at Harvey Moore Trail went well, with some new and experienced snowshoers breaking trail and taking in some beautiful views. We enjoyed $5.00 pints at Bogside following the walk – Big thanks to Bogside for partnering with us this year!

24 Feb 2024 – Ski 24 on the 24th. Come out and Ski 24km throughout the day! Loaf and Ladle will be serving some amazing soups starting around 3pm. Snowmobilers / Community members are more than welcome to park behind the lodge / join us and warm up to loaf and ladle as well – who knows, maybe you’ll leave with a membership :). For large groups, please send us an email / message to ensure we don’t sell out!
