Trails are groomed!! We had to swap out an alternator tonight, but the groomer has been doing a lot of work this winter – so we don’t blame it for asking for a new part.
We don’t have a lot of ski time left, but the trackset is solid, and the groom is decent. Myself (Chad) and Argos groomed and then skated the flats to check conditions – they were slow / soft so ideally subzero temps overnight could have a great ski in the morning!
Josie Louis Loop is currently in the worst shape, so it’s recommended to use caution if choosing to ski there. The fireball hill shortcut is the move should you be interested in skiing in this area. There are minimal bare spots throughout. The flats are in good shape as are Fox Run, Snake Run, and Charlie’s Loop – no significant barespots for the most part as of tonight.
Overall – the entrance is skiable, but pick your spots. Assuming we float between -2 and +1, its likely it will be skiable this weekend. Some weather predictions see 15 – 25 cm of snow on Wednesday, but the likelihood isn’t high – but we can all dream!
T-shirts should be in by Saturday for pickup!
